High-Quality Group Cricket Coaching at Repton School
The ICM Winter Group Academy provides structured cricket coaching for boys and girls aged 7 to 18.
The programme welcomes players of all abilities, including complete beginners, club cricketers and county players who want to continue developing their game throughout the winter.
Players will train in a positive, structured and enjoyable group environment under the guidance of experienced, ECB-qualified cricket coaches.
Players will be placed into appropriate groups based on their age, ability and stage of development.
What Players Will Work On
The ICM Winter Group Academy will cover a wide range of cricketing skills, including:
- Batting technique and technical drills
- Fast and spin-bowling development
- Fielding, catching and throwing
- Group nets and scenario-based practice
- Dynamic movement
- Running mechanics
- Game awareness, strategy and decision-making
- Video analysis, where appropriate
- Confidence, discipline and positive cricketing habits
The programme is designed to help players develop strong foundations, improve their existing skills and prepare effectively for the following cricket season

Price: £120 for a block of four sessions
Pay As You Train: £40 per session, subject to availability

Programme Design and Delivery
The ICM Winter Group Academy training programme has been designed by ICM Director of Cricket Usman Afzaal, a former England international cricketer and ECB Level 4 coach.
Please note that Usman Afzaal will not be physically present at the Group Academy sessions or personally deliver the weekly coaching.
