The ICM Derby Cricket Academy provides structured group coaching for young cricketers throughout the winter season. Players are grouped according to age, ability and whether they prefer to use a soft ball or hard ball during sessions.
The programme is designed to provide a positive, structured and enjoyable environment where players can continue developing their cricket and build confidence through regular training.

Programme Information
Pay As You Train: £40 per session, subject to availability.
Places are subject to availability and must be booked in advance.
What Players Work On
Training covers technical skills, physical movement, game understanding and the habits that help young players continue progressing.
Batting
Batting technique, technical drills, power hitting and defence.
Bowling
Development work across both fast bowling and spin bowling.

Fielding, catching and throwing skills within a group environment.

The ICM Winter Group Academy training programme has been designed by ICM Director of Cricket Usman Afzaal, a former England international cricketer and ECB Level 4 coach.

High-Quality Group Cricket Coaching at Repton School
The ICM Winter Group Academy provides structured cricket coaching for boys and girls aged 7 to 18.
The programme welcomes players of all abilities, including complete beginners, club cricketers and county players who want to continue developing their game throughout the winter.
Players will train in a positive, structured and enjoyable group environment under the guidance of experienced, ECB-qualified cricket coaches.
Players will be placed into appropriate groups based on their age, ability and stage of development.
